The Ultimate Toolbox for creating
amazing web sites!

Easy Mode: Website Building Made Simple

Easy Mode offers a simplified environment for quickly building websites using Blocks, ideal for new users or those who prefer a streamlined experience. In this mode, you'll work with pre-designed blocks instead of individual objects, making it easy to create layouts without needing full control over every element. While you can edit object properties and manage blocks, actions like dragging, inserting, or deleting individual objects are restricted to maintain layout integrity.

Arranging Blocks

There are several ways to move a Block up or down the page.
Firstly, you can use the Arrange tools (Move forward/ Move backwards) to rearrange Blocks.
Alternatively, use the '+' and '-' keys on the numeric keypad.
When you switch to Easy Mode, the first thing you will notice is that the layout is a little bit different.
For example there is no object Toolbox, because in Easy Mode you are only working with blocks.
Also, many advanced options like events, animation  are hidden.

Note that you can switch to standard mode, if you want to make advanced changes.

Adding Blocks

To start buidling your website, simply drag & drop one of the predefined blocks to the page.
Normally, you first start by adding a header blocks and then add the rest of the blocks.

But you can always re-arrange blocks later with the arrange tools.

Remove Blocks

Limitations

Easy Mode has (intentional) limitations to prevent you from accidentally removing objects or making other changes that could 'break' the layout.

You're limited to inserting blocks, rather than individual objects, and the available options have been condensed for a more straightforward workflow.

You cannot drag & drop, insert, delete or copy/paste individual objects.

But you can edit the properties of objects, just like in the regular version. Also, objects can be hidden. Blocks can be inserted, removed, copy/pasted and re-arranged.
In Easy Mode, you can only remove entire blocks, not individual objects maintain layout integrity.
To remove a Block, select it in the workspace and press the 'Del 'key on your keyboard or right click the block in the Object Manager and select 'Delete' from the context menu. To select a Block, click on an empty space inside the block.
Also, when a Block is selected, the ruler will show 'move up' and 'move down' arrows:
The arrange tools are available in the Object Manager, Menus/Ribbon and in the context menu (right click).
You can also use this to re-arrange the objects inside the grid.
